She got a CONCUSSION!
Here she is, Emily, just before we left the Children's Hospital.
She stumbled at school Friday morning after getting off the bus and fell headfirst into one of the metal poles of the covered walkway. GREAT!!!
She got to the nurse, with help from another student and was dizzy and disoriented, had trouble standing and her eyes were very dilated... They called an AMBULANCE and took her to the Children's ER... As she got to recovering, she decided she thoroughly enjoyed the whole medical emergency thing.. This worries me greatly... She wanted pictures of her experience...
She recovered fine, but GOOD LORD, it was scary for a while!

You know the SOCK MONSTER???
Well, apparently there is a SHOE MONSTER!!!
My daughter missed the bus today because she could not find 2 shoes that matched... She found 5 or 6 different shoes, but no matches... She found two PAIRS of my flip flops and a PAIR of her brothers "croc's"... but all she could find of hers was a pair of brown suede mary janes... Definitely FALL or WINTER shoes... not shoes that match pink plaid shorts and a pink t shirt!
So we missed the bus.. and I had to take her to school... THAT was a pain and she kept asking, "Why is this taking so long?" I just would say, "Because you lost your shoes!"
It amazes me that she LOST her shoes or rather ONE of them after taking them off at 6:15 pm last night and by 6:15 AM they are LOST!! AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!
ok.. I feel better now.

Spirits
Do you believe in ghosts?
Spirits, Demons?
Not like Casper or shadows saying, "Boo"...
I mean the real, live, sent from Satan kind....
What about "family curses"?
Well I have seen them and felt them and made them leave my presence with help from God.
This weekend we (Wesley and I) had a "back to school" pool party for Mary and her friends. I saw one child covered up in something that is pure EVIL.. and she is in need of prayer... Pray for Harmony.. she is going to need so much help in her lifetime.
She left a stain on the house.. after the children left, we could barely stay inside the house. We had to go into the yard.. after a bit, we felt that we needed to take my son on away from the house to meet his father...
Neither one of wanted to stay at the house after we took my son, so we left and just drove around for a few hours (at $3.75 a gallon!)... Finally we started to figure it out... We went home and began to discuss the kids.. ours, the ones that were at the house, some others we knew of that had led rough lives...
As we got closer to speaking of what was happening to the children, especially Harmony and the fact that my son would not let her pick him up (this is NOT like my son...), things started falling and dropping in another room in the house. We went in and it was ice cold, but could not see what had fallen...
But we had NO sense of fear in that room.. whatever had been there had FLED...
People, this is going to be a battle soon... Study and pray and learn about GOD... Satan will decieve you and you need to be ready with the TRUTH!!

Good Monday morning! May God's blessings and favor be upon you as you begin this work week. May our souls be stirred by the omnipotent presence of God and well up with thanksgiving to the source of whom all blessings flow. We thank you Father.
Yesterday in Sunday School, our teacher shared a statement from one of his co-workers that pierced by soul and has been on my mind ever since. It was concerning the disturbing events that are occurring all around us, more and more every day. This statement may not come as a surprise to you but it one that needs more of our attention than we're giving.
He spoke of the troubling events in the world today; high gas prices, economic instability, etc. The statement that followed brought a reality we all need to think about.
These events are setting the stage for someone to come on the scene and miraculously make them go away. He spoke of the fact that people will view these solutions as the works of a miracle worker, so to speak, and will worship the one that seems to solve all of these troubling events of today, deceiving people that will follow.
Think about it. Can you see this taking place as he described, considering all the scriptures we read in the Bible about the one such person we've been warned about?
Who is a liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22
This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not of God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. 1 John 4:2-3
Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 2 John 1:7
Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will come, until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
One of the heads of the beast seemed to have a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was astonished and followed the beast. Men worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, "Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?" Revelation 13:3-4
We've been warned about the antichrist and God has certainly put out an all points bulletin (APB) on the enemy, complete with a visual picture posted in our minds. Further warning, do not harbor this fugitive; there is a reward:
Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work. 2 John 1:8-11
Enemy captured:
But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh. Revelation 19: 20-21
One more event that is going on right now is in the minds of people throughout the world. The ideas pertaining to taking God out of so many things in the world are setting the stage for people to be deceived into thinking God is being put back into those places.
The antichrist will put himself in the position of God.
This vision recorded by John in Revelation 20:11-15 is the future headline of these events, The Dead are Judged:
Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:11-15
Prepare for the final battle; make sure that your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Although we can only account for our own actions, we must warn others to be ready too. Out of all the plans we make for our future, God's plan is the one we should focus on first and foremost.

God Almighty, we thank you for your Master Plan, which includes us all and holds our eternal destiny. We ask you Holy Spirit to guide us through each and every detail of instruction to actively carry out our roles in God's perfect plan. Give us the words to share with others when divine appointments are made. Give us the boldness to keep these appointments and confidently speak your very words to each one. We love you and thank you for the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. In His name we pray. Amen

Happy Birthday to me!
I am 36 today! I cannot believe it... I look back and think of my mother at my age.. I was 14 when she was 36. My own daughter is not even 6 yet. In a way I feel younger for that, but at times I feel just way to old to have kids so young.
My life is so complicated. But yet it isn't. To DESCRIBE my life's situation it sounds quite crazy. But to live it, feels busy, but fairly simple! LOL
I have a few goals for the year:
1. Make a CD of me singing, some songs with Daniel - some solo... some with music, some a capella... I do not care about selling it so much as giving it to my children and my family and any friends who may want it.. It would be mostly Hymns and Lullabies.
2. Work on my general health... I need to lose weight. I need to resume exercising. I need to make better food choices for myself and my family. I have a stomach of iron, but the people I am responsible for feeding have much more delicate systems than I do and I need to balance all of us... All of us eating "a la cart" is getting old.
3. Work towards gaining or regaining the respect and discipline of my children. My life over the last few years has been somewhat chaotic to say the least, and they pretty much are wild.... They aren't BAD, but very mischevious... LIKE ELVES.. always wanting to play tricks on you! Our "Joke" lately is that Emily (at 5 1/2) seems like she's working towards being KID ROCK's next girlfriend! And Vincent is training to be a Chippendales Dancer! Emily loves mini skirts and her cowgirl boots! When she wears them she walks like a "supermodel"... SERIOUSLY... and Vincent, being 2... HE loves to take his clothes off... and dance! LOL I admit I am at fault, because I find it funny, there fore I have a hard time being convincing at telling them NO...
Re-learning discipline on ALL of our parts is going to be tough!
